The Project
"The subscribers of self-proclaimed nuclear apocalypse expert Nuclear Jay flock to his makeshift underground bunker as bombs rain down, reducing the modern world to a nuclear desolate wasteland. Help Jay guide his followers in this new broken world where survival means life or death"
Deeper Underground, born from a winning game jam concept, is a post-apocalyptic base-building survival game set in
nuclear-devastated London. Players scavenge, build, and battle enemy influencers and their followers all whilst trying to survive the harsh conditions of nuclear fallout. Building on the game jam's success, we’re expanding it into a deeper, more immersive experience with dynamic gameplay and storytelling.

The Developer Team
As part of the commitment to teaching game engine production, and developing new talent, a developer team was chosen form a competition. Set by AVimmerse during the SkillsCity programme with IN4. We interviewed the team who worked with us to make the game, with the end result a video showcasing their roles and challenges during the project.

What We Did
We created the game using the Unity3D game engine, resulting in a PC video game.
