In November 2021, AVimmerse teamed up with The University of Oxford to deliver a pioneering course on creating digital twins: Digital Twins: Enhancing Model-based Design with AR, VR and MR AVimmerse delivered teaching on how to use the Unity game engine to produce Augmented and Virtual Reality, with a particular emphasis on simulating real-world assets relating to the concept of a digital twin. Further explorations involved the origins of immersive technology, an explanation of the term metaverse, and its origins in popular literature, as well demonstrations on the possible applications of new technology for architecture, engineering and construction. In 2022 AVimmerse will continue to deliver with leading education partners to help foster growth within the Immersive technology sector.
What the client said:
'We first worked with Keith and AVimmerse when I hired Keith to conduct a workshop on AR/VR. The workshop has since led to other engagements and I have also invited Keith into my Oxford University program for Digital twins as a guest tutor. Keith is excellent both as a tutor and also as a developer in the space of AR/VR. His knowledge and insights helped us to understand this dynamic space and build our knowledge base. I have no hesitation in recommending Keith or AVimmerese for AR/VR projects.'
